You know you're destined to be a botanist when you read a 25 page paper on plant and pathenogenic fungus interactions and find it thoroughly interesting.

Biology has sucked my soul dry, and now I am reduced to writing ecological gibberish at 3 in the morning the day before a midterm.

This sucks

Well, since Ive moved into the new apartment (which by the way is fabulous), I dont have internet access until saturday, so until then, the paul sokoloff internet experience is being hosted out of the crappy little computer in minto building. Moving is done, I passed Physics, and Ottawa is beautiful, so all in all, life=pretty good right now. I wouldnt mind a connected computer, but, oh well. On the flip side, I was put on notice today at work because "youre not pulling in enough sponsorship money." Yeah, when my manager gets me to exclusively call a rural area populated by pensioners and welfare receipients asking for a $100 donation to an arts centre they've never even heard of, I should just be raking in the cash. Management sucks...everywhere (but shawnessy esso, they knew what they were doing. Thats pretty much it.

Oh, and either this weekend or the next I will be having a housewarming party at my new place, there will be wine and debauchery...so stay tuned.

I caved...and got Facebook. Add me as a friend, then ridicule me for lacking the backbone to not latch onto the next great internet procrastination tool.

Paul's Big Wholesale Mega-Update

OK, so the title lies, this isn't a big update, but I figure my first post in over a month deserves some fanfare. So here whats going on in my life; Classes ended last week, and Ive been studying for exams since. My first one, Microbiology, is tomorrow. I get to move into my new apartment on May 1st, and this place is gorgeous, its got hardwood flooring, is practically next door to campus, and is cloe to starbucks, and you all know how much i love Coffee. I got a job, but.... while it pays well its goign to be a 45 minute bus ride away from my new place, and Im really not sure if its worth it. If no other offers come in though... well see. In other news this past weekend was amazing. Friday night I went out to a dinner party hosted by Micheal and Nathan, adn I cant remember the last time i had more fun (or more wine). Satuirday was marked by an equally awesome pub night with Jeff and Lindsay, and Lindsay, ill do my best to win $1000 for more beer, in fact I think im going to get coffee now, and go for a walk on parliament hill. Until next update.
